Hi everyone! Sorry for my long absence. School’s been wild. I’m coming out of hibernation to let you all know about my guest post at Pages Unbound for their Tolkien Reading Event. It’s a review of Donald Swann’s song cycle, The Road Goes Ever On, which consists of 7 of Tolkien’s poems set to music.
From Pages Unbound: “Every year on March 25, the anniversary of the Downfall of Sauron, the Tolkien Society hosts Tolkien Reading Day. This year’s theme is Tolkien and the Mysterious. The primary goal is to promote the reading of the works of J.R R. Tolkien! To celebrate, Pages Unbound will be hosting two weeks of Tolkien-related posts. In addition to our own thoughts, we will be featuring a number of guest posts!”
Pages Unbound is probably my favorite book blog ever. Briana and Krysta offer smart commentary on a wide range of books, as well as frequent and thought-provoking discussion posts. I also used their blog when deciding what books to give my friends and family for Christmas. If you haven’t already followed Pages Unbound, please do so right away!
That’s all for today. Please let me know, here or on Pages Unbound, what you think of my review!
Will definitely check it out! 🙂
